At The Rex we encourage a little bit of decadence. After all, we’ve yet to meet the guest who books into a luxury hotel with the aim of behaving better than they do at home.
Each of our 55 bedrooms and five Inner Sanctum Suites is a full-on sensory experience. Everything you see and everything you touch, from the extravagantly opulent linen to the brass and leather of the fittings, is designed to make you sigh with satisfaction.
Slightly smaller than a Superior Double Room, but perfectly formed, with all the Rex ingredients.
Superior Double bedrooms have striking geometric carpets and dramatic windows, while the tactile burnished metals, dark polished woods and luxurious leather make for a sensory experience.
As well as all of the amenities that the Superior bedrooms have, our Executive rooms have a double or king-size bed and a small partition between the bed and seating area, with a TV that can be swivelled around to face the seating area or the bed.
This is our second level of suite, with a separate seating area and our feature roll-top bath. There is also a super king-size bed and a pair of slippers to go with your waffle robe.
There are 5 Inner Sanctum Suites – each named after an iconic Manchester figure and featuring a huge ‘wonderwall’ screen. There is a signature emperor-sized feather-bed, vintage suitcases, buckled belts and hat boxes that will transport you back to the golden age of travel.
We have two extremely spacious Bank Manager’s Suites which have a feature roll-top bath in the main bedroom itself, and a shower in the bathroom. They have an emperor-size bed, slippers and robes.
